I love April. I love how you can feel the seasons change or as Belle put it the other day "It really feels like it's not always Winter and never Christmas any more..." Plus it has the prettiest name by far.
But mostly I love it because it is the month of my birth! I am now 22 years old. Thank you for the well wishes my lovelies, they are much appreciated. I am late replying because, well, my birthday present from Nat? A weekend in Barcelona! SI! I am a fool and forgot my camera, so as soon as I steal some pics I will post all about it. Briefly though, sun, sangria and lychee ice cream. I have a stellar boy. But don't tell him I said that...

jillicons (this will become a theme, trust me) and combines many of my loves. I have a mad love maps, we have a map room in our house. Alright, it's more of a map hallway. Nonetheless! And I also adore musicals, so the Evita reference delights me.

byprecious_jemz . It took me a long time to find, but this is my perfect Moulin Rouge icon. I love Moulin Rouge with a crazy and terrible adoration. It makes me cry. Every. Single. Time. And still I watch it over and again, adoring the whole routine that this image is taken from. Plus there's Satine's dress and Ewan in a tux to enjoy.

byjillicons . So once upon a time I said to Anna that I flitted from subject to subject like a politically aware butterfly. And she gace me the nickname of Lalafly. MWAH Anna banana! ANd Dan calls me Little Butterfly sometimes, after Pratchett character who smiles oh-so-sweetly and a ruthless streak a mile wide. Don't say you weren't warned! And this one is so colourful and pretty!

copperbadge . Our Sam is not just a provider of recipes and incredible fanfiction, oh no. He also provides cool steampunk icons. I love steamounk-y things a lot, and talk about them, so I love to have a relevent icon. It's so intricate and interesting.

byobsessed_chick . I knew as soon as I starting collecting icons that I wanted a Mary Poppins one. I played her in the musical when I was 17, and the still tend to act a bit like her, especially when shepherding drunk friends. This is my default WTF?!?! icon.

bybella_sol . The lovely frantic_mice (missing you!) picked this one for me. It's so cute and chic! A beret and boots and a sausage dog, what more could a girl want. And it's about travelling and being a free spirit. I only hope I live up to it's awesomeness.
Also, look at what the fabulous and fabulously talentedmiabee023 made for me! It's a Havemercy comic in the style of xkcd, thus combining two of my favourite things. Grazie tresoro (that's the limit of my Italian) !
