Alas I did not have any ideas, I was torn between an AU (specifically a young!j/s AU, though I figured I would probably cheat on that and just end up with another university story, lol) and an IRL-as-they-are story. I love stories wherein EVERYONE KNOWS and EVERYONE IS BETTING and they are either OBLIVIOUS or WHATEVER GUYS THAT IS STUPID WE JUST READ EACH OTHER FOR THE ARTICLES ENJOY EACH OTHERS' COMPANY OKAY. I think there was a fic once where the PRT placed bets, Andy betting they'd never realize, Keith betting they would, and Rachel not having been in on it but saying if she had she would have bet they'd been secretly married for years. <3
Oh banter. I have such a deep admiration and jealousy for your and others' banter-writing abilities.
