Rollingstone Magazine's newest article has a blurb about the new album. There's a release date (Nov) and a pic of the four members (except "frank" is wearing a mask, and most of us think it isn't him). There's gerard describing scrapping the punk album they had a year ago and explaining the sound of this album, including the dystopic concept part: The songs are meant to be a bootleg transmission of a radio station in that dystopian future desert story. The sound of album will be more fun, with a happy syth pop addition. They has to admit they were ready to have a party album. No mention of a drummer at all (perhaps with a synth album they didn't have one???) But we can't rly tell if it's punk rock with some party synth feel, or a total shift towards pop (I can't imagine it's the latter but idk).
