*hugs even gentler* Yes, I am feeling better, thank you very much! Achey, but not the cry-curled-on-the-sofa kind anymore. And I can use computer again, if my hand is properly propped (by an old purple stocking stuffed with rice and things. Yummy, like a big fat purple caterpillar lounging on my desk, smelling faintly kitchen-y.)! I had serious withdrawal symptoms. :)

OMG I KNOW IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER! Just looking at that Amy and Rory gif, omg TEARS IN MY EYES! (I am trying to write an epic giant Amy/Rory fic and it is KILLING me bb, I was not really made for giant writings!) I LOVE THEM SO HARD, MY FAVOURITE SHIP ACTUALLY EVER!

OMG I KNOW! So much love there. Oh bless you lovely, I will probably be totally taking you up on that! I am very much not snowed under with beta offers (mostly because I am not telling that many people because omg that makes it official and like I have to produce something!) so that's really sweet of you. :) THANK YOU! And gosh I love them SO MUCH. Plot is HORRENDOUS. Along with everything that isn't dialogue, I should clearly be writing plays or basically anything but this novel because it is all dialogue with the bare minimum of anything else because I can't do it! *shakes fist also*
I have missed you so too! Are you free at all this summer for meeting up times because it has been SO long. :(

I have been dogsitting and having earthquakes (little ones). My ancient laptop still does not do chat very well, but my DESKTOP IS WORKING AGAIN. Thanks to my brother-in-law, who YANKED OUT, BLEW ON, AND PLUGGED BACK IN TWO CABLES. *loses geek card for a year*

Arg, that is always so annoying. My laptop is also killed by chat, but now I have other computers to steal. I mean, borrow. So fingers crossed. Did you never own any Nintendo? That's how you always fixed them ;) But someone else doing the same thing you've been trying works an up setting amount of the time. That happened to me every time I couldn#t work brimtoast's macbook, I would pass it to her and and she would do exactly the same thing and BING, working.
We decided it just didn't like me. It could smell the PC taint on me!

I never had a TV or a Nintendo growing up! I opened up the case and used canned air to blow away the general dust, but I didn't think to re-seat the cables, nor that the actual connection in the cables might be dusty.
I abhor the computer techs who look at you like you're crazy/completely incompetent when you say that IT WAS TOTALLY DOING THAT BEFORE, WHY IS IT NOT NOW, and/or I DID JUST THE SAME THING, WHY DID IT NOT WORK, because that happens too, too often; they're hardly competent themselves if they fail to recognize this. *used to work tech support*
