Recently several very different people have expressed Great Shock and something close to outrage at the fact that I do not have a twitter account.

Technically I do. I just wanted to make sure no one stole my name, and then ignored it.

SO. People of the internet. What is so good about this fancy 140 character phenomenon? Alternatively, is there any evidence that twitter is, in fact, the devil (oh ontd_ai , will I never tire of your in-jokes)?

I am ready to be swayed either way!

PS. Has anyone else noticed that the chorus of this

I am annoyed and wish to share this with the internet.

Man, maybe I should get twitter.

Oh please, grace us with your twitter-y presence! :) It is awesome for procrastination, as isi said. You can tweet all kinds of random things. You can learn all kinds of random things about random people! And also about not so random people! You won't have to google things like "Who sings the intro song to Lie To Me?" anymore, because there are people in the great big twitter family who will tell you in a matter of seconds. Or minutes. Or hours. But still. You'll be part of the big twitter family! It's cool! And awesome! And isn't awesomeness what all marmfish strive for, trudging along in Sarah's wake- who has twitter?

Twitter is great! :D And since I haven't done that in a long time, I'm randomly blaming you. For anything you like.

You make a very compelling argument, Bran. I do so love procrastination, after all. The twitter family! And I also love random trivia. HMMMM.

Oh, I totally forgot this over declaring my love for twitter: I always thought Love Never Dies was no good. And this video makes me sad, because I liked Sierra Boggess in The Little Mermaid (not that I saw much of it), and now I cannot bring myself to thinking she's awesome anymore!

Only listening to previous ALW musicals can cure this!
