Ugh, buying bras. I can so rarely find any that manage to come in both a small back size and large cup size (28 HH is ridiculous) and am often having to make some sort of compromise as to fit. I hope you manage to find a decent sports bra without too much anguish. (Also, I love that balcony quote.)
